Break up the work week lull with a night of fun, fashion, and - most importantly - fundraising at Strutbr& Sip for Autism on Wednesday, October 15th. The annual event boasts a fashion show, complimentary cocktails, a live auction, and more to benefit adults and children with autism. The Details:
What can guests expect? After their red carpet arrival, guests can mix and mingle - complimentary cocktail in hand - with friends and new acquaintances to a vocal performance by The Marylands. A runway fashion show, produced by Michele Deckman of Fashion Karma, will feature the latest in fall fashion with selections from Nordstrom, South Moon Under, Wrabyn, Lilac Bijoux, W by Worth, Hobo, Hats in the Belfry, and Noonday Jewelry. The reigning and former Miss Maryland USA, Miss Teen Maryland USA, Miss USA International, and Miss MD International will be modeling in the show! Adding much excitement to the event is the live auction with amazing packages, including a week's stay at a lake house in Maine and four nights at Aqua Wellness Resort on the Emerald Coast of Nicaragua. And, topping it all off is the after party presented by DJ Chris Styles from Hot 99.5 and DC Nightlights.
Food and drinks? Enjoy delectable Latin-inspried hand-passed and stationary hors d'oeuvres and desserts from Paladar Latin Kitchen & Rum Bar, while sipping complimentary tea-infused cocktails, courtesy of Capital Teas. If that's not enough, there will be three fully-stocked cash bars on site ready to accommodate any beverage request!
What about parking? There's plenty of free parking at the Towne Centre. Valet parking is available, too!
The dress code? It's an evening dedicated to fashion, so dress up in your trendiest cocktail attire!
Are tickets still available? Absolutely! General admission (open seating) tickets are $150, with VIP tickets, which include a special VIP entrance and reserved seating for the runway show, are $200. Where do the proceeds go? All proceeds will be used to establish a grant for adults and children with autism to receive speech and occupational therapy services through the Kent Island-based Kinera Foundation.
