In this role, Anna is responsible for budget reporting and decision support at both Shore Health and Chester River Health System. With over 30 years of experience in healthcare accounting, D’Acunzi has spent the majority of her career working in hospitals. Prior to joining Shore Health, D’Acunzi spent the last 24 years at Baltimore Washington Medical Center in the Decision Support department, with the last 12 years spent as manager of the department.
“I’ve spent almost my entire career working in the hospital setting and it is something I really enjoy,” says D’Acunzi. “Decision management gives you the chance to interact with managers to give them the support that they need to make good financial decisions.”
D’Acunzi earned an associate’s degree in business management from Anne Arundel Community College. She is currently pursuing her bachelor’s degree in finance management at the University of Maryland. She is a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association.
