The Anniversary Run is a double-loop course on paved trails within Quiet Waters Park on Sunday, December 13th at 10 a.m. The Annapolis Striders is a running club that promotes fitness and mental well-being through long-distance running. brThe Santa Speedo Run and Toy Drive is a fairly new Annapolis tradition but a fun tradition, nonetheless. It always stops traffic! Don your speedo, holiday flair, and sneakers. Bring a toy or book and help make a child’s Christmas merry! Participants meet in Eastport in the tented parking lot of Blackwall Hitch on Saturday, December 19th at and run throughout Downtown Annapolis up to West Street and back to Eastport for a post party with live music and libations. Wear a holiday themed costume on Saturday, December 5th at the Holiday Inn Solomons in Solomons Island. Tie jingle bells to your shoelaces. Raise funds to help find a cure for arthritis, the nation’s leading cause of disability. Run or walk a 5K route with your team members and celebrate the season of giving. Registration is $5–40.
