She graduated cum laude from the University of Maryland School of Medicine and completed her residency at the University of Maryland in Baltimore. “Working with Dr. O’Donnell and expanding into vein services are a natural complement to my practice. Kelly’s practice philosophy of personalized care so closely matches my own that I know this will be a great asset to our patients,” she adds.
brHer career for the next decade was in cardiovascular and critical care anesthesia at Prince George’s Hospital Center and Washington Hospital Center. In 2008, Dr. O’Donnell shifted her focus to the diagnosis and treatment of venous disease. In 2009, she received her Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) certification, Registered Physician of Vascular Interpretation (RPVI) certification, and her board certification in venous medicine from the American Board of Venous and Lymphatic Medicine. Dr. O’Donnell has advanced training in wound healing and works collaboratively with all local wound centers.

Dr. O’Donnell’s leadership in the field of venous disease
Board certified in venous and lymphatic medicine, Dr. O’Donnell earned her undergraduate degree in microbiology from the University of California, Los Angeles, and pursued graduate studies in molecular genetics at University of California, Berkeley, before returning to Maryland to attain her medical degree. She graduated from the University of Maryland School of Medicine in 1990, and completed her internship in general surgery at the University Hospitals of Cleveland.
