The first sign of Spring is back with crafts, a petting zoo, hundreds of vendors, and a theme of “Entertaining with Nature’s Pizzazz”, showcasing gardens with beautiful outdoor entertaining spaces. The Maryland Home & Garden Show is the one stop shop to find home improvement ideas and the contractors you need to fulfill those dreams.
The Basics
Date: The Spring show will last two weekends, the first weekend being February 29 through March 1 and the second weekend directly follows (March 6-8).
Time: The Show will be open 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on both Saturdays (2/29, 3/7), and be open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday 3/6 and both Sundays (3/1, 3/8).

The Details
What can guests expect? This show will really have three shows in one: Home, Garden, and Craft. There will be over 400 home design and improvement booths where you can hire professional contractors if needed. Every part of the house will be covered, including kitchen, bath, spa, window, and additions. The craft show will have over 125 crafters who have created their own pieces for purchase.
Any can’t miss speakers? The Rose Kings will be speaking the first weekend. Their show on Saturday will start at 3 p.m. and their Sunday show will start at noon. Chris VanCleave and Brian Puckett make up the Rose Kings, a duo with a passion for growing roses, and teaching others how to grow their own rose gardens without using harmful chemicals.
What else will be there? The second weekend (March 6-8) will include the Orchid Show and Sale. There will be thousands of orchids on display and you will be able to buy your favorites. There will also be a free wine tasting with bottles available for purchase, a free bouquet giveaway every hour, and a petting zoo for kids including llamas, rabbits, goats, and turtles.
Admission Prices? Tickets are to be purchased at the door or at a discounted price online. They are $12 for adults, $10 for seniors (62+), kids between 6-12 ae $3, kids under 6 are free. The Craft Show only admission is $6, and admission is free for active military, police & fire employees with ID. Tickets are $5 for all adults on Friday March 6.
