Starting with the first visit, OASIS’ team of experienced psychiatric care providers focuses on accurately assessing the client’s needs and providing professional, quality care for individuals and families in crisis. OASIS provides the meaningful bridge that transitions clients from crisis to stabilization. Once stabilized, OASIS assists clients and families with obtaining ongoing professional treatment in the community to ensure that their mental health care needs continue to be met. Crisis treatment is augmented by short-term follow-up where warranted, culminating in a referral to an appropriate mental health professional within the community. OASIS extends compassionate support to family members of the client, providing valuable links to services within the community that offers assistance, information and comfort. OASIS was founded by a group of concerned citizens and health care professionals in response to the growing lack of mental health resources in the community.
