We are an integrative veterinary center, meaning we offer both traditional veterinary care and holistic/alternative care; often combining therapies. Dr. Jennifer Levitsky has been practicing veterinary medicine in the Severna Park / Annapolis areas for the past 13 years. She became a Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist (CVA) after comprehensive training at the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society and the Chi Institute and went on to receive homeopathic training. Healing Paws is committed to your pet’s wellness and quality of life regardless of their age. We focus on client education so that every owner feels confident about caring for their pet through all of life’s stages. We take the time to sit down with, get to know you and your pet, address all health and nutrition issues and formulate a plan to improve their health and well-being. From the moment you walk into the wellness center, you will notice we are a different type of veterinary center. We have both you and your pet’s comfort, and safety foremost in our minds. You won’t find any slippery floors, strange smells or sterile exam rooms. Instead, you and your pet are greeted by a water wall, soothing music, rubber non-slip flooring, fluffy dog beds and plush window seats for the kitties. Most appointments are 30 minutes or longer, in order to provide time for us to get to know you and your pet, your pet’s lifestyle, your wishes for treatment and perform a full physical examination and discuss the findings.
