Annapolis, MD - Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay announced the 2024 Taste Award Winners in Maryland. Every year, the Chesapeake is celebrated at Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay's largest annual fundraiser, the Taste: Celebrate the Chesapeake. The event features an evening of local food, beverages, live music, silent auctions, raffles, and, last but certainly not least, award presentations. This year's Maryland event was held at the Annapolis Maritime Museum & Park, which raised over $3,000 from the silent auction and raffle. Plus sponsors helped raise over $116K leading up to this year’s events.
Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay's 2024 award winners include: 2024 Fran Flanigan Environmental Leadership Award winner, Carin Bisland; 2024 Maryland Watershed Champion, Suzanne Etgen; and 2024 DC Watershed Champion, Rodrick West!
