Discover local brews and coffee-inspired cocktails, check in at local cafes and restaurants, and win prizes
ANNAPOLIS, MD – Following a successful inaugural event, Visit Annapolis & Anne Arundel County (VAAAC) is brewing a second pot of Café Diem: The Annapolis Coffee Crawl and is inviting residents and visitors to experience the buzz of the town‘s coffee culture from September 27 through October 4 in celebration of National Coffee Day on September 29.
"Dolly Parton famously sang about pouring herself a 'cup of ambition',” said Kristen Pironis, CEO of Visit Annapolis & Anne Arundel County. “Her optimism, authenticity, and belief in bringing people together have inspired generations, and Café Diem captures that same spirit by encouraging residents and visitors to discover new favorites, connect with local businesses and each other, and experience the vibrant café culture in Annapolis."
Celebrating National Coffee Day on September 29, the eight-day crawl highlights independent coffee shops, cafés, restaurants, bakeries, and lounges throughout the Annapolis area. Participants can enjoy everything from handcrafted espresso drinks and seasonal lattes to espresso martinis and coffee-inspired cocktails while discovering some of the region's most beloved local businesses.
From cozy neighborhood cafés to waterfront gathering spots, each stop offers a unique taste of Annapolis hospitality. During the crawl, participants can check in at participating locations using the VAAAC digital pass platform powered by Bandwango, the same platform used for VAAAC’s Be Revolutionary: America250 Exploration Trail. Each check-in brings participants closer to earning exclusive prizes, while allowing them to take advantage of special Café Diem promotions and offers available only during the event.
