Michaud brings more than 18 years of commercial real estate management experience to shopping center
Annapolis, MD - Annapolis Mall and Centennial, a retail real estate owner and operator with a national portfolio of shopping, dining, entertainment and mixed-use destinations, is pleased to announce the appointment of Mariah Michaud as the shopping center’s General Manager. Michaud, who relocated from San Francisco and brings more than 18 years of commercial real estate experience, officially started the position in January 2025. In her new role, she will oversee all aspects of Annapolis Mall, including operations management, tenant relations, business development, customer experience, and compliance and safety.

Confirmed enhanced additions to Annapolis Mall include the recently announced DICK's House of Sport and Dave & Buster's, which join a growing merchandise mix that currently includes the likes of Apple, American Eagle Outfitters, Free People, The LEGO® Store, Lululemon, Under Armour and Zara.
Michaud began her career in property management as the Operations and Leasing General Manager for Thor Equities in downtown San Francisco, where she worked for more than six years. Throughout her professional tenure in San Francisco, Michaud worked as a Commercial Real Estate Manager at companies such as CBRE, Madison Marquette and most recently Union Property Capital throughout the San Francisco Bay Area, with a focus on investment analysis, accounting oversight, business development, construction projects, capital and annual budget planning, as well as due diligence and court of law expert witness.
In 2020, Michaud received the prestigious Kingsley Award, a national award for excellence in real estate management in the San Francisco market.

Originally from Maine, Michaud received a Bachelor's degree in Theology and Art at Saint Joseph’s College in Standish, Maine. She also received an MBA in Business Management from the Graduate School of Business at Mills College at Northeastern University in Oakland, California, as well as a Certificate of Commercial Real Estate Analysis & Investments from MIT School of Architecture and Planning.
Outside of work, Michaud has a passion for music and film, and works as a talented photographer, artist, and dedicated health enthusiast. She is an active volunteer with Habitat for Humanity, and volunteers as an art teacher to under-privileged communities and youths.
