ANNAPOLIS, MD — The City of Annapolis Board of Supervisors of Elections (BOSE) announced that mail-in ballots for the September 16, 2025 Annapolis Primary Election have been mailed to all voters who returned a Mail-in Ballot Application. For those opting to use Mail-In Ballots, BOSE encourages voters to use one of the convenient and secure ballot drop boxes to return their ballots (or via U.S. Postal Service).
Ballot Dropboxes and Locations
Drop boxes are located in each of the eight aldermanic wards and are available 24/7 until 8 p.m. on Election Day, September 16, 2025:
- WARD ONE: City Council Chambers – 161 Duke of Gloucester Street, Annapolis, MD 21401
- WARD TWO: Michael E. Busch Annapolis Library – 1410 West Street, Annapolis, MD 21401
- WARD THREE: Mt Olive Community Life Center - 2 Hicks Avenue, Annapolis, MD 21401
- WARD FOUR: American Legion Post #141 – 1707 Forest Drive, Annapolis, MD 21401
- WARD FIVE: Roger “Pip” Moyer Recreation Center – 273 Hilltop Lane, Annapolis, MD 21403
- WARD SIX: Eastport Community Center – 1014 President Street, Annapolis, MD 21403
- WARD SEVEN: Eastport Annapolis Neck Library – 269 Hillsmere Drive, Annapolis, MD 21403
- WARD EIGHT: Eastport Volunteer Fire Hall – 914 Bay Ridge Avenue, Annapolis, MD 21403
Request a Mail-In Ballot
Voters have until Friday, September 12 to return the Mail-in Ballot Request Form that was sent via U.S. Postal Service (USPS) to all registered voters in early August. After Friday, September 12, (until the close of polls on September 16), voters may come to the Elections Office at Annapolis City Hall (160 Duke of Gloucester) to request an Emergency Mail-in Ballot. Emergency ballots are meant for voters who are unable to vote on Election Day due to an emergency (medical, last-minute travel, etc.).
