New Facility Will Replace Aging Spa Road Site
Annapolis, MD - The City of Annapolis will host a groundbreaking ceremony on Friday for the new Department of Public Works (DPW) facility at 39 Hudson Street in Annapolis. The new buildings will replace, in its entirety, the DPW facility on Spa Road that reached the end of its service life decades ago.
This $10+ million construction project will include administrative office space, vehicle repair bays, storage, an enclosed salt barn and parking for both City vehicles and employees. The project was approved as part of the 2019 Capital Improvement Plan and is scheduled for completion in fall of 2022.
