ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, MD. — The Anne Arundel County Food Bank is celebrating the success of its July fundraising campaign and thanking Crosby Marketing Communications for its generous $50,000 matching gift, which inspired donors throughout the community to make an even greater impact.
The appeal came at a critical time, as high grocery and electricity costs placed additional pressure on families, seniors and individuals already struggling to make ends meet.
“We are deeply grateful to Crosby Marketing and to every person who contributed to this campaign,” said Leah Paley, CEO of the Anne Arundel County Food Bank. “Summer can be especially difficult for our neighbors. Families lose access to school meals, seniors face higher cooling bills, and many households are forced to choose between buying groceries and keeping their homes safe and comfortable. This campaign showed what our community can accomplish when we come together.”
Crosby Marketing’s matching gift encouraged donors to stretch the value of their contributions and helped raise awareness of a challenge that often receives less attention during the summer months. Funds raised through the appeal will support the Food Bank’s work to distribute nutritious food through its network of partner pantries and community organizations across Anne Arundel County.
