Annapolis, MD - The Arts Council of Anne Arundel County is now accepting applications for the 2022 Spring Mini Grant program. Funding of up to $2,500 is available to eligible organizations and programs on a dollar-to-dollar matching basis.
Mini Grant support innovative, well-defined arts-related projects that reach a new or broader audience, preferably within underserved communities. In 2021, ACAAC adopted new goals directed towards increasing the diversity of artists and arts organizations supported by its grant programs. This includes prioritizing funding for artistic activities that promote diversity, equity, inclusion and social justice, and are accessible to all. Mini Grant applications that reflect these goals are highly encouraged. Projects that feature partnerships with other arts or community organizations are also encouraged in an effort to engage more local residents in cultural and artistic activities. Arts Council staff is available to assist applicants with outreach and marketing to connect organizations with potential partners and audiences within Anne Arundel County.
2022 Spring Mini Grant applications will be accepted from October 1-31, 2021 for projects taking place between January-June 2022.

This year, oral history projects, and video capture of the spoken word by community elders, which result in a public-facing presentation are also encouraged.
This program is made possible by a partnership between ACAAC and the Anne Arundel County Office of Planning and Zoning Cultural Resources Division.
