ANNAPOLIS, Md. (January 20, 2012) – Ballet Theatre of Maryland (BTM), the state’s premier professional ballet company, has thrown its support behind the Baltimore Ravens for the AFC Championship in an unusual way. BTM has publically challenged Boston Ballet for bragging rights, should the Ravens beat the Patriots this weekend.
The ballet team associated with the losing team (the Patriots) will post a video on their social media outlets of the entire company announcing in unison “We love the (insert winning team – i.e. Ravens). Additionally, the losing company’s Artistic Director will sport the winning team’s jersey.
