2026 - What is the compelling story you most want to tell? The Bloomberg Green Docs competition is open to all eligible filmmakers who would like to compete to win a $25,000 grand prize for a short climate documentary.
We want to explore our climate future with documentaries that reveal the world we are making today. Ecosystems are being restored and tomorrow’s zero-carbon communities are being formed. At the same time, extremes in our habitats warn of cascading climate consequences.
Call for Entries
- Films addressing the urgency of climate change
- Under 10 minutes, including credits
- Submissions accepted through October 2, 2026
- Jury will award a $25,000 grand prize
- Winner will be announced at the Bloomberg Green Docs Film Festival in November 2026 in New York City
- Top five documentaries will be shown at the festival
