Document Highlights Buckley Administration Priorities, Departmental Progress, and Community Investment
ANNAPOLIS, MD — The City of Annapolis released its 2025 Annual Report, a comprehensive document that outlines key accomplishments of the Buckley administration, departmental highlights, strategic initiatives, and community investments during Fiscal Year 2025.
“It is important for residents to understand how taxpayer dollars are being managed and the breadth of the City’s services and activities,” said Acting City Manager Victoria Buckland. “In our second year of producing this report, we are able to showcase not only transparent governance, but also our commitment to customer service, community investments, and sustainability.”
From balancing the FY25 budget to expanding equity-driven programs and advancing major infrastructure projects like City Dock resiliency, the report captures a year of progress in the City of Annapolis.
“In this final year of my administration, I’m proud of how we’ve supported neighborhoods, protected our historic waterfront, and invested in a more inclusive future,” said Mayor Gavin Buckley. “This Annual Report reflects the energy and dedication of City staff and the resilience of our Annapolis community.”
The 2025 Annual Report covers updates across all City departments, including public safety, Public Works, Recreation and Parks, Transportation, Planning and Zoning, and more. Highlights include:
- Launch of transit services including “Go Time!” on-demand transit and electric fleet acquisitions
- Youth engagement through camps, summer internships, and “No Harm”
- Ongoing enhancements to public infrastructure including water, sewer, traffic safety, roads, sidewalks and bike/pedestrian paths
- Expanded community outreach through the Office of Community Services
