ANNAPOLIS, MD – The Go Bowling Military Bowl matches NC State against East Carolina at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium in Annapolis on December 28, 2024. The game will be televised on ESPN. Residents and visitors in Annapolis should plan for traffic impacts associated with the following events:
- the Miracle on West Street (3 to 5 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 27),
- the Military Bowl Parade (2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 28), and
- the Military Bowl game (5:45 p.m. kickoff on Saturday, Dec. 28).
MIRACLE ON WEST STREET
From 3 to 5 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 27, 2024, visit the Budweiser Clydesdales, food trucks, vendors, activities and more for adults and children along Inner West Street and Church Circle in Downtown Annapolis. The Clydesdales will be hitched to the iconic Budweiser red wagon on Cathedral Street. Families are encouraged to station themselves along the parade route on West Street between Cathedral Street and Church Circle to see the big horses with bells ringing. There will be temporary road closures and parking restrictions on Inner West and Church Circle between 2:15 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. Drivers should follow marked detours to and from historic downtown. BUDWEISER CLYDESDALE FAST FACTS: In order to qualify to join the world-famous Budweiser hitch, a Clydesdale must: stand at least 18 hands high (6 feet tall); be a gelding and at least four years old; have a bay coat, four white stockings, a blaze of white on the face, a black mane and a black tail; and weigh between 1,800 and 2,300 pounds. GO BOWLING MILITARY BOWL PARADE
At 2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 28, Go Bowling Military Bowl Parade steps off from City Dock, traveling through historic downtown and concluding at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium. Annapolis Police will conduct rolling road closures as the parade makes its way from City Dock to the stadium. There will be parking restrictions along the parade route. Please follow Annapolis Police detours and direction.
The parade features crowd favorite, the Budweiser Clydesdales, as well as Medal of Honor Recipients, college marching bands, civic organizations, military-themed groups, color guards, and youth clubs. After the parade, join the official Go Bowling Military Bowl Tailgate in the Blue Lot on the west side of the stadium.
PARADE ROUTE: Begin on Dock Street at City Dock; Left onto Randall Street; Right onto Main Street; Right onto Church Circle; Right onto West Street; Right onto Calvert Street; Left onto Northwest Street which turns into Rowe Boulevard; Left on Taylor Avenue; and into Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium.
