Maryland providers have now administered 1,653,670 doses of Pfizer and Moderna vaccines. 97.8% of all first doses and 83.9% of total doses received from the federal government have been administered. Providers are administering an average of 36,992 doses per day.
Additionally, an initial allocation of 49,600 Johnson & Johnson vaccine doses have been delivered to Maryland and 34,454 of these have already been administered.

Important Updates
- Beginning next week, the state will set aside at least 300 priority appointments per day—a total of 2,100 per week—for individuals on the Prince George’s County pre-registration list at the Six Flags America mass vaccination site. This is an increase from 500 appointments per week that have been reserved for county residents since the site opened in early February. Read more.
- Yesterday, Governor Hogan announced the Western Maryland mass vaccination site in Hagerstown will open one week early on Thursday, March 25. This will give the state at least one mass vaccination site in each region. The state is in active discussions with jurisdictions that have expressed an interest in hosting a mass vaccination site.
Vaccine Appointments for Priority Populations
- Consistent with federal guidelines, Maryland is in Phase 1C of its vaccine distribution plan, prioritizing all residents 65 and over, as well as critical workers in high-risk settings. Click here to see if you’re eligible.
- More than 275 providers are now listed on covidvax.maryland.gov, a one-stop shop for finding providers in your area. Vaccinations are by appointment only, and supply remains very limited.
- A telephone-based support line is available for residents without Internet access who require assistance finding providers and making appointments for mass vaccination sites. The COVID-19 Vaccination Support Center—available at 1-855-MDGOVAX (1-855-634-6829)—is open seven days a week from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
