As movie theaters continue to be closed, we are all itching for our time in front of the big screen, but there is another option. This option can still include blasting air conditioning, a nice recliner, and plenty of popcorn: we’re going to a drive-in movie!
Okay, so your car may be what is kicking out the A.C., and you may have to recline in the driver’s seat, but we are going to get you out to see a movie. You may also have already seen the movie, but every movie is better on the big screen and this week, Bengies is playing two classics that are fun to see again and again. At 8:45 p.m. tonight through Thursday is E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial from 1982 and following, at 11 p.m. tonight through Thursday is Back to the Future, the Michael J. Fox classic from 1985. Be sure to visit their website to find out what movies are showing next week.
Bengies is located in Middle River, right outside of Baltimore and is the largest movies theater screen in the United States at 52 feet high and 120 feet wide, 6,240 square feet. Watch the Christmas classics on the big screen in December and come back for motion picture marathons on Memorial Day and Labor Day weekends. Even visit for boy and girl scout camping in September and Trunk or Treat for Halloween.
