Election Day is less than a week away! Check out the tips below and make sure you're prepared before you hit the polls on November 6th.
Know who and what is on your ballot:
Before deciding who to vote for, make sure you know your options. You can find a sample ballot for your county and precinct here, which includes all candidates and ballot questions. If you’re unsure of your precinct, you can find it using the Maryland State Board of Elections’ Voter Lookup tool. The Voter Lookup tool will also tell you your polling place, and whether or not you need to show an ID to vote.
Research the candidates:
Still not sure who to vote for? There's still plenty of time to learn about the candidates. Check out the candidate's websites and read election previews by local papers and news channels, like this Gubernatorial Election Preview by What’s Up?. Voter Guides, like this one by The Baltimore Sun, can also help you learn more about each candidate and their stances.
Go vote!:
