This week’s Feedback Friday topic is:
Spring Break: Too Long or Just Right?
With the Easter weekend ahead and most children having been off from last weekend through Monday, 4/18, we’re curious to gauge the public opinion on the length of time public schools are closed for spring break. I can recall having Good Friday and Easter Monday off thirty some years ago for a long holiday weekend—not the full week-plus that families are accustomed to today (I hope my memory is correct). Couple this with a shorter-than-usual summer break that public schoolchildren will have in 2022 (last day of school 6/24 and the return on 8/29 before Labor Day), and the following questions seem fair game:
Do you think Spring Break is too long or just right? Are there too many days off during the school year? Are you satisfied with the length of summer break or not?
Please share your thoughts by filling out this form. Today’s responses—and all future Feedback Friday responses—will be published in our Monday newsletters after the weekend. AND, several responses from recent topics will appear in our upcoming print magazines!
