This week’s Feedback Friday topic is:
Market Disruption!
Are we headed toward extreme inflation? Economists are certainly ringing the alarm bell that our nation (and much of the global economy) is headed in this direction. Quarterly trends and this week’s stock market disruption (a drop of 1,000 points-plus off the Dow on Wednesday, followed by another dip Thursday) has us watching our securities, with a mindful eye on all investments, price indexes, and interest rates. Certainly, there are domestic factors at play, but also global variables, not the least of which is the Russia/Ukraine war. We’re hopeful for an inkling of an end-of-week market rebound by the time this message reaches your inbox. But this week and recent trends beg the questions…
What do you think about the possibility of severe inflation? What do you think are the root causes? Are you worried? Do you have confidence in our nation’s leaders to navigate this economy?
Please share your thoughts by filling out this form. Today’s responses—and all future Feedback Friday responses—will be published in our Monday newsletters after the weekend. AND, several responses from recent topics will appear in our upcoming print magazines!
