This week’s Feedback Friday topic is:
Vax Your Children Well
The big news to break nationally and statewide this week is the FDA’s authorization of the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine for children ages 5 to 11. There are an estimated 515,000 children of this age range in Maryland.
And on Wednesday morning, Governor Larry Hogan announced that the state’s health officials authorized providers to immediately begin holding clinics, scheduling appointments, and vaccinating the children; local school systems will offer vaccination clinics directly to reach the most children.
Our questions to you:
Do you agree with the FDA’s approval of the Pfizer vaccine for children ages 5 to 11?
And are you comfortable vaccinating your children?
Please share your thoughts by filling out this form.

I do support this approach, but this is not blanket support. Pay increases make sense but need to be paired with reforms that increase training, accountability, conflict resolution and investment in alternative forms of assistance that improve police response to mental health and domestic violence situations.

I do not agree with this initiative. Larry Hogan plans to run for higher office and this slogan is just part of his plan to appeal to the Trump supporters. Yes, I do agree we need to pay our police better, but this slogan is divisive. The last thing we need is more division.
