The menu for this elegant cocktail party includes hors d'oeuvres, carving and pasta stations, a salad buffet and dessert. Guests will be entertained by a local pianist and have an opportunity to meet some of the staff who provide emergency medical care 24 hours a day, every day, at the Queen Anne's Emergency Center.
r
A silent auction will feature a collection of packages that will appeal to outdoors people, gardeners, wine enthusiasts, gourmet diners and travelers. Bidding will heat up for a crab feast for 30 and for a spa and fitness package. Golf enthusiasts should come prepared to vie for outings at three of the area's finest courses and lessons to polish up their game.
r
The fundraising goal of $60,000 will purchase equipment for the Queen Anne's Emergency Center. The two items on the list are a 12-lead EKG machine with software to wirelessly transmit test results to physicians at other healthcare facilities and a GE Panda, the most up to date technology available for warming, delivering oxygen to and monitoring of newborns and infants.
