Events Include: EV Showcase, First Sunday, Dinner Under the Stars and More
ANNAPOLIS, MD - Spring and summer events on Inner West Street will kick off on April 19 with the “Kick Gas! EV Showcase.” West Street between Church Circle and Calvert Street will be closed to parking and traffic for the event (10 a.m. to 1 p.m.) on Sunday for a presentation of electric vehicles. The event is organized by the Annapolis Electric Vehicle Association (driveelectricearthmonth.org/event?eventid=5144&s=sc33) and is free and open to the public.
Starting Sunday, May 3, West Street between Church Circle and Calvert Street will be closed to parking and traffic for the First Sunday Arts Festival, a staple of the Annapolis summer. Festival hours are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. First Sunday events are organized by the Inner West Street Association (www.iwsannapolis.com/calendar-of-events). Monthly dates after May 3 are (Sundays):

On Sunday, May 17, West Street between Church Circle and Calvert Street will be closed to parking and traffic for the Taste of Spring (1 to 5 p.m.). Taste of Spring is organized by the Inner West Street Association and is a ticketed event.
Starting May 20, West Street between Church Circle and Calvert Street will be closed to parking and traffic each Wednesday (and some Saturday) evenings throughout October 14 for Dinner Under the Stars (4 p.m. to 11 p.m.). Dinner Under the Stars is organized by the Inner West Street Association.
Important Information for Residents and Visitors
Parking: Closest parking is Gott’s Garage (25 Calvert Street). Whitmore Garage (25 Clay Street) offers free parking on Sundays from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be no parking permitted on West Street between Church Circle and Calvert Street during these events.
Detours: Signage will redirect traffic around the inner West Street corridor.
