Annapolis, MD – The Annapolis Boys & Girls Scholarship Trust (ABGST) is hosting the inaugural Le
r
Spectacle Classique de Voiture on August 14th at Les Folies Brasserie in Annapolis from 10:00 a.m. to
r
3:00 p.m. This spectacular event will feature classic cars, exotic cars and race cars and will include a
r
fantastique three-course lunch at award-winning Les Folies. Guests will enjoy a roulette wheel of prizes,
r
a race car simulator, freshly rolled cigars, a silent auction, open bar and gift bags. The guest speaker
r
is Joel Miller – the 2007 winner of the Skip Barber National Series, driver for the Pro Mazda Series and
r
driver of the Indy Lights Series. Joel is a step away from the Izod Indy Car Series. Watch for Joel on the
r
Indy 500 podium in years to come.

All proceeds will go to the Annapolis Boys & Girls Scholarship Trust, a non-profit which provides financial
r
support for members of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Annapolis & Anne Arundel County to attend college
r
after graduating from high school. The Trust is a separate non-profit from the Boys & Girls Club.

Cars on display include an award winning limited-edition Jaguar XJRS, an Aston Martin V8 Vantage, a
r
Lotus 23 custom-built for racing, a 1931 Rolls-Royce Phantom II, a Ford Model T, a 1959 Jaguar which
r
competed in the Pan American rally championship, a Formula Continental Van Diemen RF97 race car
r
and a Citroen from the 60's. Many more to come...

Annapolis Boys & Girls Scholarship Trust

The Trust, established in 2000, has provided financial support for more than twenty five members of the
r
Boys & Girls Clubs of Annapolis & Anne Arundel County to attend universities and colleges throughout
r
the United States. The Trust also provides financial assistance for two students to attend Gordonstoun
r
International Summer School in Scotland each year. Gordonstoun is one of the world's most prestigious
r
independent schools in Great Britain. The Summer School provides a full range of academic courses
r
and the program provides tremendous opportunity to develop international friendships and to learn about
r
