Annapolis, MD – Maryland Hall’s BloomHaven summer concert series returns this season with four genre-spanning events designed to transform the Hall’s front lawn into one of the region’s defining summer destinations for live music, community, food, and easy nights under the sky.
Blending live music, local food vendors, community partnerships, and immersive themed experiences, BloomHaven continues Maryland Hall’s growing vision of creating a summer destination where audiences return throughout the season not just for performances, but for the atmosphere itself.
From Go-Go and jam bands to bluegrass, folk traditions, and Grateful Dead nights on the lawn, each BloomHaven event is designed to bring a different energy and audience into Maryland Hall’s evolving summer world.
“This year, we really focused on building BloomHaven as more than a concert series,” said Austin Sposato, Director of Programming at Maryland Hall. “We wanted it to feel like Maryland Hall’s summer home. It's about top-notch live music, but it's also about time with family and friends on those easy summer evenings we look forward to all year."
This season also marks an expanded collaboration with community partners and sponsors helping shape the BloomHaven experience.
The Annapolis BayGrass Festival returns for a second year sponsoring two BloomHaven events through the “Road to BayGrass” partnership, a collaborative bridge connecting Maryland Hall’s summer lawn series with the region’s growing bluegrass and Americana community. Those events include Grateful Dead Night with Better Off Dead and the season finale, The Annapolis Fiddler’s Pick-nic & Birthday Bash.
The DC Bluegrass Union joins the series this year as a promotional sponsor of The Annapolis Fiddler’s Pick-nic & Birthday Bash, further deepening the event’s focus on regional music traditions, local musicianship, and community gathering.
In addition to live performances, BloomHaven will feature notable local food and beverage vendors, returning community partners, and interactive lawn experiences throughout the season, including the return of the Croquet Club of Annapolis, helping create a summer experience that extends beyond the music.
