Tiyana Parker Brings Experience and Expertise to Constituent Services Role
Annapolis, MD – Mayor Jared Littmann has hired a new Ombudsman to help connect residents and businesses with City government and ensure constituent issues are efficiently addressed. Tiyana N. Parker began serving in the role on Thursday. The position is based in the Mayor’s office.
As Annapolis Ombudsman, Parker will serve as a central point of contact for residents and businesses. The position focuses on troubleshooting constituent issues, coordinating across City departments, and helping people navigate City government to find timely solutions.
“Building a customer-focused culture in City government is a key component of Annapolis Works,” said Mayor Littmann. “Tiyana has deep connections in the community and solid experience helping constituents find solutions. We’re excited to have her join the team.”
Prior to joining the City, Parker served as a Community Engagement Officer in the Anne Arundel County Executive’s Office of Community Engagement and Constituent Services. In that role, she coordinated hundreds of community engagements annually, helped resolve constituent matters, and led signature initiatives including large-scale cultural heritage events and community service programs. Parker was born and raised in Annapolis and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Howard University.
