Maryland Restaurant Week started September 18th and continues to September 27th. Visit some of the restaurants participating in Anne Arundel County: Buddy’s Crab & Ribs, Galway Bay, Killarney House, McGarvey’s, Middleton Tavern, Pirate’s Cove, Ramshead Tavern, Ramshead Dockside and Ramshead Roadhouse, Sam’s on the Waterfront, Yellowfin and more. Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum Fall Sunset Yoga
Every Wednesday in the month of October, the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum will host a series of mixed level sunset yoga classes on its waterfront campus in St. Michaels. Each class will be an hour starting at 5:30 p.m. with owner and certified yoga instructor at Eastern Shore Yoga, Jenn Swaine. Classes are $20 for a single session, $70 for all four, or 20% off as a CBMM member. Register at cbmm.org/yoga
Annapolis Town Center Creates New Outdoor Spaces
The Annapolis Town Center has activated three new outdoor spaces: The Green, The Patio, and The Garden. Each space featured physically distanced seating arrangements and décor to match the tone and vibe of the weekly tenant and partner hosting the event over the summer months. Annapolis Arts Alliance (AAA) Opened Year-Round Gallery
Annapolis Arts Alliance opened a year-round gallery in Downtown Arts District on August 1st. The gallery is showcased in Gallery 57 West with twenty-five diverse AAA members featured. “A Fusion of the Arts” includes paintings in all media, photography, glass, sculpture, jewelry, and more. This is a perfect addition to the lively, culturally Arts District in downtown Annapolis. "After five years of seasonal Pop-up shops, we’re excited that the Annapolis Arts Alliance now has a permanent location to display the talents of so many members”, said Elizabeth Ramirez, President of AAA. Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum’s Rising Tide Program Returns
CBMM’s free after-school program is open to students grades six-nine both virtually and in-person. Students are invited from 3:30-5:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays to CBMM’s Workshop Annex in St. Michaels for in-person classes. Virtual session will be 3:30 p.m. on Wednesdays.
