Pandemic Hurts Bay Restoration
Normally, the Oyster Restoration Partnership is able to visit local restaurants to recycle oyster shells and clean the Chesapeake Bay. Those efforts have become more difficult since the pandemic hit since restaurants can no longer feed as many people and many people don't have oysters for carryout. Read more here about how the Bay is hurting from the lack of oysters. Click here to donate to the restoration.

Annapolis Arts District Continues to Give Back
The Annapolis Arts District continues to give back to the community. In December, they completed their second beautification project of the year by starting to landscape around Westgate Circle. They also added two artistic bike racks at the Stanton Community Center and donated donated art supplies and an art class to the Stanton Center. The Annapolis Arts District is still accepting donations for all of these programs so that the programs can be expanded. In addition the Annapolis Arts District hung a Holiday Light Canopy from Church Circle to Westgate Circle with funding from BGE. With the help of the Kagan Law Firm, Dangerously Delicious Pies, and a few West Street residents they also added three additional strands of lights this year to the light canopy.
