Last Day for Anne Arundel County Chamber of Commerce Wreath Decorating Contest
Get creative! Design a unique Holiday Wreath that represents your style or business! Wreaths can be artificial, fresh or made of other materials such as ribbon and ornaments. Check out Pinterest, Etsy or some of the entries in the pics below from last year for inspiration. (if you do opt to create a fresh wreath, make sure to keep it watered so that it doesn't dry out by the 15th) Wreaths will be auctioned and raffled off with all proceeds benefitting Feed Anne Arundel so we do ask that they have a minimum retail value of $50. The wreath with the most Facebook likes will win the Facebook Favorite Winner and will win (2) Roundtrip tickets from Southwest Airlines. All wreaths will be collected on Dec. 13-14th so they can all be displayed for raffle & auction sales at the December 15th Annual Holiday Mixer at Homestead Gardens. The most popular wreaths will be auctioned off Live!, while the remaining wreaths will be raffled off. Online raffle tickets will be available for purchase beginning December 8th and raffle winners do not have to be present to win. Click here for more information

Annapolis Maritime Museum Reopened Saturday
Museum reopened this past Saturday, November 20th from 10 am-3 pm. We are so excited to welcome you back, and share our rich maritime history and ecology with you. Though our museum has physically recovered from the water damage, AMM has experienced a financial deficit from closures and repairs. Help us bridge the gap by visiting the museum and shopping in our in-person or online store. All proceeds from the next two weeks will directly impact our post-flood recovery.

Historic Annapolis Preschool Reopening for 2022-23 School Year
After a year-long, pandemic-induced pause, Heritage Learning Center, an award-winning preschool in Annapolis, will accept applications in December 2021 for admission for the upcoming 2022-23 school year for children ages 2, 3, and 4. Since 1985, Heritage Learning Center has worked with preschool children from throughout the area to prepare them for entry into kindergarten in a bustling center tucked just off Forest Drive on the Heritage Baptist Church campus. But, in 2020, like many other schools Heritage Learning Center paused in-person learning and finished the school year virtually. Following that, leadership made the difficult decision not to reopen the program for the next school year, in favor of taking time to update the physical facility and restructure the program. Beginning December 1, 2021, Heritage Learning Center will accept applications for admission for the 2022-23 school year. Classes will be open for children ages 2, 3, and 4, with opportunities for before school care (8-9am), lunch bunch (noon-1pm), extended care (3-5pm), and drop-in care. For the latest information on the application process, sign up for email updates at heritagelearningcenter.org
