The Preserve at Eisenhower Golf Course to Reopen May 1 After $5 Million Golf Course Renovation and Rebrand
The long-awaited reopening of The Preserve at Eisenhower Golf Course will arrive on May 1, with tee times available to book starting April 1. The Preserve will resume play after an extensive project covering a complete overhaul of the public-access layout. The eco-friendly approach is the brainchild of burgeoning golf course architect Andrew Green and highlighted by removal of all bunkers and installation of Bermuda grass fairways and tee boxes requiring less water and chemical inputs. Green, who is also engineering a makeover of Congressional Country Club’s famous Blue Course, uses native fescue and strategic mounding for visual appeal and playing challenges at The Preserve at Eisenhower Golf Course. Five sets of tees from 4,700 to 7,100 yards satisfy golfers of all abilities along their journeys through forestland and alongside numerous creeks and swales.
