Annapolis Maritime Museum Re-Opened Saturday 4/24
AMM reopened this past weekend with a brand new interactive exhibit, Our Changing Waterfront. The museum is open inside to 50% capacity due to COVID-19 regulations. The Annapolis Maritime Museum & Park educates youth and adults about the Annapolis area’s rich maritime heritage and the ecology of the Chesapeake Bay through programs, exhibits and community events.
Merriweather Post Pavilion Books Next Big Show
After over a year in live music limbo, we are beyond thrilled to announce a show at Merriweather Post Pavilion! *Insert happy dance here!* When our pal Thomas Rhett rolls through Columbia, MD on October 7 as part of his Center Point Road Tour, you can bet we’ll be having a grand ol’ time seeing our amphitheater back in action once again. If you’re as excited as we are to get back to concerts, get in on our I.M.P. presale this Thursday to secure tickets and add a date to your calendar to look forward to. We’ll be right there with you counting down the days!
Chesapeake Arts Center Classes Postponed
CAC has received information that two students that attend a class have tested positive for Covid-19 and are in quarantine. The last date they were in our building was Saturday April 10th. Out of an abundance of caution for students, instructors, and patrons, CAC will be cancelling all classes and open studios until April 30th. Our facility will be closed and is undergoing a thorough cleaning. Normal classes and activities will resume on Saturday May 1st.
