What’s Up? Media Wins Folio Award
What’s Up? Media is excited to announce that on Monday, September 21st, our publication What’s Up? Eastern Shore won 2020 Folio: Eddie & Ozzie Awards honors for the single article titled “Disappearing Act” from the January 2020 issue. This honor—last received in 2018 by What’s Up? Media—places the publication within the esteemed ranks of national publications, including Southern Living, National Geographic, and Consumer Reports, among many others, and the very best City & Regional magazines. What’s Up? Media is the only local and regional publisher to receive a Folio award this year.

Kick Gas! Annapolis Green Celebrates National Drive Electric Week
Annapolis Green is bringing the community National Drive Electric Week, September 26-October 4, a nationwide celebration to raise awareness of the many benefits of and options for driving electric. EVs are fun to drive and one of the best things you can do to mitigate Climate Change! Besides, they’re becoming pretty normal now… are less expensive than you think, stylish, and convenient. Smashing Grapes Opens in Annapolis
Titan Group is opening a new, Coastal California/Mediterranean blend inspired kitchen and wine bar in Annapolis. The restaurant is located in the old Greene Turtle and a second location is set to open at the end of October in the old Greene Turtle in Gambrills. Smashing Grapes features a sommelier-crafted wine list, specialty craft cocktails, and a menu with brand new taste profiles.
Museum Reopening
The National Museum of American History and the National Museum of the American Indian reopened in Washington D.C. on Friday, September 25th. Besides December 25th, the museum will be open Friday through Tuesday, 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. with last entry at 3:30 p.m.
Dining Under the Stars
Dining Under the Stars has been extended this year until the end of October. Fall weather is the perfect weather for outdoor dining on historic West Street in Downtown Annapolis. Tables are till socially distanced and there will be live music is available most nights; the schedule for the rest of the fall season is below.
