Summer Classes on Sale at Chesapeake Arts Center
Consider taking a class at the CAC this Summer! A wide variety of art classes are offered, everything from pottery, painting, drawing, theatre, screen printing, woodworking and dance, to a mix of fun workshops such as clay for a day, portrait painting, and more for children and adults!
The 8th Annual Burritos for Beds Breakfast Returns in Annapolis
Members of the Samaritan House Board of Directors have pledged to personally contribute $15,000 during Burritos for Beds as a challenge for supporters to match. With this as a seed, the goal is to raise $30,000 to grow the continuum of care for a stronger sober community. Samaritan House is a non-profit and donations are tax deductible. On May 11, from 7-10 am, the public is invited to Chevy’s Fresh Mex (2436 Solomons Island Road, Annapolis). Guests will have the opportunity to make a cash or credit donation of any amount and receive a free breakfast box containing a fruit cup, sweet pastry, and breakfast burrito. Seating will be available in the restaurant and outdoors on the patio, with Covid-safe practices in place.
The Mainstay Announces Return of Live Music
The Mainstay would like to welcome everyone back to LIVE MUSIC in Rock Hall! After more than a year of having our doors shut, The Mainstay is returning to LIVE face to face concerts. Since our new stage is not yet completed, we will be partnering with Java Rock and the town of Rock Hall to present this fabulous band in an outdoor, socially distanced and safe way. Our first show on May 22nd is just the beginning of our phased return to live programming.
