Rotary Club of Annapolis Raises $35,000 at their Crab Feast
The Rotary Club of Annapolis hosted a drive-thru style crab feat during the first week of August at the Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium. At the end of the event, they had raised about $35,000 to donate to nonprofit organizations serving the community. The event became drive-thru style instead of the normal sit in feast because of COVID regulations.
BSO Announces Five-Year Contract with Musicians
The Baltimore Symphony Orchestra and its musicians announced that they have reached their first long-term contract in many years. This contract will put an end to a period of turbulent relations between the organization’s management and artists. The contract will reduce the musicians salary for the 2020-21 season, but will increase their salaries in the remaining years. The contract will also bring in more full-time musicians.
