Annapolis, MD. — The Rotary Club of Annapolis is proud to announce that its first-ever charity golf tournament raised $10,000 in support of the Make-A-Wish Foundation, helping grant life-changing wishes for children facing critical illnesses.
The tournament was held on November 3, 2026, at the beautiful Golf Club at South River, where golfers from the Annapolis community and beyond came together for a day of competition, camaraderie, and philanthropy. Participants enjoyed exceptional course conditions, friendly rivalry, and the shared mission of making a meaningful impact in the lives of local families.
“Our club is thrilled with the success of our inaugural event,” said Sue Weber, President of the Rotary Club of Annapolis. “Raising $10,000 for Make-A-Wish shows what our community can accomplish when we come together with purpose. We look forward to growing this tournament for years to come.” Our next tournament is scheduled for October 19, 2026 at the Golf Club at South River.
Representatives from Make-A-Wish joined the festivities, expressing gratitude for the Rotary Club’s partnership and generosity. The funds raised will directly support granting wishes for children in Maryland, offering hope, joy, and strength during challenging times.
The Rotary Club of Annapolis extends its heartfelt thanks to all golfers, sponsors, volunteers, and the Golf Club at South River for helping make the event a tremendous success.
