Annapolis, MD - Award-winning author, Ned Tillman, will be Severn River Association's speaker for the October 21st meeting. Ned, a native Marylander, has published four books that all fall at the nexus of humans and nature and what the future might bring.
Presentation Summary: Ned Tillman is an Earth scientist and award-winning author. His work lies at the nexus of man and nature, exploring the rich natural history of this area as well as the destructive impacts of human activity. His nonfiction work shares many interesting aspects of the Mid-Atlantic while his historical fiction provides a look at how we and our ancestors have dealt with the challenges faced in the past on a more realistic and visceral level.
