Did you know that Dorchester is home to one of the highest populations of sika deer? Sika are actually a kind of elk that was introduced to this country in the early 1900s from Asia. Dorchester is the only place outside Asia where they can be hunted in the wild.
The new mural is now part of the Chesapeake Mural Trail, which features more than 20 murals around Dorchester County.
