OXFORD, MD — Tucked along the Tred Avon River in one of the Chesapeake's most picturesque villages, the Oxford Holiday Market, presented by Doehrn Tea Co., returns December 11–13, 2026 at the Oxford Community Center, transforming holiday shopping from obligation into occasion. Now in its third year, the market invites visitors from across the region to gather under one roof for handmade treasures, seasonal fare, and the kind of December weekend worth remembering.
More than two dozen carefully selected artisans fill the community center with work rarely found elsewhere: an Eastern Shore–inspired watercolor, a hand-thrown ceramic mug, a perfectly blended tin of looseleaf tea, a hand-poured candle, a piece of jewelry that quietly becomes someone's favorite piece. Every booth is a small discovery. Every gift arrives with a story attached.
"Oxford in December feels like stepping inside a snow globe," said Monika Mraz, the market's organizer and founder of Doehrn Tea Co. "We've created the kind of weekend people happily drive an hour for — beautiful surroundings, beautiful gifts, and a cafe that smells like Christmas. You leave with your shopping done and your spirits filled."
At the heart of the market, a European-inspired holiday cafe serves a delicious lunch, fresh-baked strudel, a perfect cup of tea, and seasonal sweets — reason enough on their own to linger between booths.
