Mamma Roma first opened the doors of its Odenton location in 2005. It is a family restaurant run by brothers Rino and Bruno who have a rich history and years of experience. Dating back to the 1970’s their family started a chain of restaurants Mamma Lucia in Maryland. Rino was born and raised in Monte Di Procida (Naples Italy). He has worked in some of Italy's finest restaurants and was a sous chef for one of Italy's top chefs, Piero Scaletti. After graduating, Rino moved to the United States at the age of 19. Bruno gained experience in the restaurant field as the front of the house manager while he attended the Frederico Second University of Naples, then moved to Maryland at the age of 21.
Mamma Roma cares deeply about its customers and is committed to the community. Rino and Bruno are thankful for their customer’s faithful support over the past 15 years and look forward to serving them in the future.
