There is something for everyone at our Restaurant. We pride ourselves on our stone-hearth artisan pizzas, seafood, steak and a variety of dishes that embody the bold tastes of Greece and Italy. Momma Maria’s has combined those classic Mediterranean flavors with local seasonal ingredients to create a high-quality menu.
When we opened one year ago in Trappe to begin our training, some of us knew one another, most of us greeted one another for the first time. That was what seems forever ago, when we could shake hands or lend a hug to a colleague we had not seen in a very long time. We were, however, convinced of one thing, that together, the magic of this restaurant was about to be born.
The Restaurant business is a small world. We are a different breed, we work Holiday’s, we rarely have dinner at home, homework with the kids is left to our other half’s and we all admit that our customers become our nightly favorite reality show.
We opened Momma Maria’s with one focus, to provide great food, excellent service and a place people could come and be remembered, whether by name, by what they drink or what their favorite food is.
We believe we have accomplished that dream, even with this awful foe keeping us from opening other than carry out.
We look forward to opening again, and we give thanks to all of you who have stepped into our Restaurant and to those of you who will walk through our doors once more.
Until then, prayers are sent to those we have lost and if we can accomplish one thing, let us become the kindness we are most capable of.
