Kennedy Krieger Institute’s Festival of Trees returns this year with all its festive magic—and a brand-new Saturday night party.
The festival, an annual favorite in the community, takes place Nov. 28–30 at the Cow Palace at the Maryland State Fairgrounds in Timonium.
Throughout the weekend, festivalgoers can expect to see more than 800 decorated trees, wreaths and gingerbread houses designed by area businesses, community groups, schools and individuals. In addition, guests can enjoy carnival rides, games for kids, live entertainment and the opportunity to talk to Santa. Attendees also have the chance to do some holiday shopping at the vendor village.
New this year is Tinsel on Tap, a Saturday night party for adults ages 21 and older. The party starts at 7 p.m. and includes live entertainment, games, festive food and beverages, and lots of merry surprises. It’s the perfect date night or friends-night-out option.
Truist returns as the title sponsor for Festival of Trees and plans to give away a limited number of commemorative 2025 ornaments to festival guests.
Saturday, Nov. 29 is Healthcare and Education Heroes Day, and those who work in healthcare or education receive a 50 percent discount on one general admission ticket when they show a valid work ID.

On Sunday, Nov. 30, families can take advantage of reduced crowds and unlimited amusement rides for kids at a special ticketed event, Reindeer Rise & Shine, 8-10 a.m.
