"The Whites Hall Project"
Our mission includes honoring all of the former enslaved men, women (and children) who worked on the 18th century Whites Hall plantation via annual academic scholarships, each in the name of a former enslaved person. Whites Hall will become the first plantation property in the nation to so honor all of it's former enslaved in such a way. We hope to be a model, an example, for other properties and institutions with similar associations with slavery.
