ANNAPOLIS, MD – The Annapolis Rotary Club is pleased to announce the availability of Rotary Global Grants for graduate students abroad. They invite college seniors to apply for this extraordinary scholarship opportunity.

Rotary Global Grants are offered in partnership with Rotary International and Rotary Clubs across the U.S. providing generous funding for hundreds of highly qualified graduate students who with to pursue studies and research at accredited institutions outside of the country. These prestigious awards are designed to develop leaders who will tackle the world’s most pressing challenges. The grants typically provide a minimum of $31,500 (USD) to support tuition, fees, travel, room and board, and other academic expenses.
Candidates’ graduate studies must contribute to at least one of the Rotary’s Internation’s seven areas of focus:
- Peace and Conflict Prevention/Resolution
- Disease Prevention and Treatment
- Water and Sanitation
- Maternal and Child Health
- Basic Education and Literacy
- Economic and Community Development
- Supporting the Environment
The deadline for applications for the 2026-2027 academic year are due to the Annapolis Rotary Club by October 31, 2025. Applications will be reviewed by the club and Rotary District 7620, and successful applicants will be notified in March 2026.

The Rotary Club of Annapolis includes 160 individuals working to benefit people locally and around the world. The club has three groups that meet at different times for the convenience of members.
The Lunch Group meets every Thursday at noon at Annapolis Yacht Club. The Breakfast Group meets the fourth Tuesday of each month at Eggcellence at 2625 Housley Road, and the Happy Hour Group meetings on the third Monday of each month at Maggiano’s at the Annapolis Mall.
