Bello Machre raised more $80,000 to benefit children and adults with developmental disabilities at its 30th Annual Golf Tournament held September 17th. The event ought together 130 golfers at Queenstown Harbor for a spectacular day of golf and fundraising.
“As we cele ated our 30th year, it was a picture perfect day of golf and giving. This was our most successful Golf Tournament to date," says Dr. Robert T. Ireland, president and CEO of Bello Machre. "We sincerely appreciate the support of our friends in the community who continually come out to support this great tournament.”
Bello Machre salutes its presenting sponsor, Gordon Mumpower, president of Commercial Insurance Managers, for donating $10,000.
“As I reflect on the longevity of 30 years of the Bello Machre Golf Tournament, I can only think of all the good this fun day has done for people with developmental disabilities,” Mumpower says.
Bello Machre also salutes platinum sponsor, Skyline Technology Solutions who donated $7,500. Thanks goes out to gold sponsors, Joanie Peacock of Champion Realty and Shane Ireland and Quinn Salamandra of Corporate Brokers, who each donated $5,000.
The silver sponsors donated $2,500 each and included Bancorp (Crofton , MD), Cattail Construction (Severna Park, MD), Comprehensive Developmental Services (Reisterstown, MD), DataLink Interactive (Millersville, MD), The David Orso Group of Century 21 New Millennium (Annapolis, MD), and PNC Bank (Ellicott City, MD).

Bello Machre, founded in 1972, is a nonprofit organization in Anne Arundel Country that provides homes and support to children, teens, adults, and seniors with developmental disabilities. Its mission is to enrich the lives of those served through loving care, guidance, and opportunity so that they can live life to its fullest.
