Anne Arundel County CASA, Inc. (Court Appointed Special Advocates) held its eighth annual fundraising gala on Saturday, November 8th, at the Loews Annapolis Hotel.
About 300 people attended CASAblanca, which boasted magnificent décor, delectable food and drinks, exciting live and silent auctions, and live entertainment provided by First Class. The Community Foundation of Anne Arundel County received the CASA Community Leadership Award; First National Bank was honored with the Corporate Commitment Award; and Jean White was awarded the CASA Caring Heart Award.
Overall, more than $83,000 was raised for Anne Arundel County CASA and the work it does for the most vulnerable in the community. Next year's gala will be held on November 7th at the Westin Annapolis Hotel.
