The Chesapeake Bay Environmental Center's annual Wet and Wild Auction raised more than $52,000 for bay restoration efforts and educational programs at the center, located in Grasonville.
Guests enjoyed cocktails, along with a buffet dinner catered by the Narrows Restaurant, live music with Bird Dog & the Road Kings, and an exceptional live and silent auction. Going along with this year's theme of “Denim and Diamonds,” the highlight of the evening was the diamond jewelry raffle, courtesy of Paula's Fine Jewelry in Chester.
With more than 15,000 students and campers each year, fundraising is critical to ensure the continuation of these programs.
