The Boatyard Bar & Grill Regatta to benefit Chesapeake Region Accessible Boating (CRAB) was the most successful FUNdraiser in its eleven-year history.
More than 630 people attended the party following the 78 boat regatta. Great 70's and 80's music played by Misspent Youth got everyone out of their seats to dance. The BB&G provided delicious food and Mount Gay and Heineken took responsibility for quenching everyone's thirst after a long day on the water.
The regatta raised enough money in the Skippers Challenge and paddle raise to buy CRAB a new Beneteau First 22A, with gross proceeds exceeding $82,000.
